Eligibility Criteria (as on 01 January 2025)

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 40 Years
• Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 Years
  • OBC: 3 Years
  • PH: 8 Years

Educational Qualification:

• For Classes 9-10:
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree with 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation
  • B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution
  • OR 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. from NCTE-recognized institution
• For Classes 11-12:
  • Master’s Degree with 50% marks
  • B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution
  • OR B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution

Note: 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates

Selection Process

1. Written Exam (OMR Based):
   • 60 Questions, 60 Marks
   • Duration: 1 Hour 30 Minutes
   • No Negative Marking
2. Academic Qualification: 10 Marks
3. Prior Teaching Experience: 10 Marks
   • (2 marks per year of service in Govt./Aided/Sponsored schools)
4. Oral Interview: 10 Marks
5. Lecture Demonstration: 10 Marks

• Total Marks: 100

Salary Structure

• Pay Level: ₹28,000 – ₹40,000 (as per Level 6 or 7)
