Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university
  • Final year students may apply but must submit proof before Interview/Personality Test

Desirable Qualification:

  • NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate (considered during Interview/Personality Test stage)

Medical Standards (Highlights)

  • Eyesight:
    • Distant Vision: 6/6 or 6/9 (better eye), 6/12 or 6/9 (worse eye)
    • Near Vision: N6 (corrected), N9 (corrected)
    • Refractive Error Limits: Myopia -4.00 D, Hypermetropia +4.00 D
    • LASIK Allowed (Age 18–35, 6 months post-op stability, axial length 21–26 mm, corneal thickness ≥425 microns)
  • Other Checks:
    • No DNS, vertigo, ear discharge, chronic sinusitis, swollen nodes, spinal disease
    • No chronic diseases: TB, diabetes, asthma, heart disease, etc.
    • Dental: Healthy teeth, no severe pyorrhea
    • Skin: No eczema, psoriasis, leprosy
    • General: Fully developed limbs and joints, no knock knees, varicose veins, hernia, or deformities
    • Pregnancy will lead to temporary disqualification

Exam Pattern – Written Examination (03 August 2025)

Paper I – General Ability & Intelligence

  • Type: Objective
  • Marks: 250
  • Time: 2 Hours (10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon)
  • Language: English & Hindi
  • Negative Marking: 1/3rd per wrong answer

Syllabus Includes:

  • Mental Ability, Reasoning, Quant, General Science
  • Current Affairs, Polity, Economy, History, Geography

Paper II – General Studies, Essay & Comprehension

  • Type: Descriptive
  • Marks: 200
  • Time: 3 Hours (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM)
  • Medium: Essay in English/Hindi; rest in English
  • Evaluation: Only for those who qualify Paper I

Paper II Syllabus:

  • Part A (80 Marks): Essays on history, polity, human rights, security
  • Part B (120 Marks): Comprehension, précis, counter arguments, grammar
