The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has officially released the details for the Combined State / Senior Subordinate Service (PCS) Examination 2024. The notification is under Advertisement Number A-1/E-1/2024, and a total of 947 posts are available for recruitment.

Initially announced with 220 vacancies, the total number of posts has now increased to 947 under the same Advt No. Key posts include:

  • Deputy Tehsildar – 258 posts
  • Assistant Commercial Tax Commissioner – 196 posts
  • Commercial Tax Officer – 142 posts
  • Other posts: Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Block Development Officer, Deputy Jailor, Sub Registrar, etc.

Eligibility Criteria (as of July 1, 2024):

  • Nationality: Indian
  • Age Limit: 21 to 40 years
    • Relaxation applicable as per rules for reserved categories
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university
