Eligibility Criteria (as on 08 March 2025):

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university
  • Typing Skill:
    • Minimum speed of 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) in English on computer
    • Maximum 3% mistakes allowed
  • Computer Knowledge:
    • Must have knowledge of computer operation
  • Age Limit:
    • 18 to 30 years
    • Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen/Differently Abled/Dependents of Freedom Fighters as per Government rules
    • No upper age limit for employees of the Supreme Court Registry

Application Fee:

  • ₹1000/- for General/OBC
  • ₹250/- for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Differently Abled/FF categories
  • Fees payable online only via UCO Bank payment gateway (bank charges applicable)

Selection Process:

  1. Objective Type Written Test (2 Hours):
    • 50 Questions: General English (including comprehension)
    • 25 Questions: General Aptitude
    • 25 Questions: General Knowledge
  2. Objective Type Computer Knowledge Test:
    • 25 Questions
  3. Typing Test on Computer (English):
    • Minimum speed: 35 w.p.m.
    • Maximum 3% errors allowed
    • Duration: 10 minutes
  4. Descriptive Test (2 Hours):
    • Comprehension Passage
    • Precis Writing
    • Essay Writing
  5. Interview:
    • Only candidates who qualify in all previous stages are called for Interview
    • Final selection based on merit (called in 1:3 ratio)
