Railway Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala, has announced the recruitment of Act Apprentices for various trades under Notice No. A-1/2024. The recruitment drive aims to fill 550 vacancies in trades such as Fitter, Welder, Machinist, Painter, Carpenter, Electrician, and AC & Ref Mechanic.
The application process begins on 11/03/2024 and the last date to apply online is 09/04/2024. Candidates are required to pay the examination fee by 09/04/2024. The fee structure is Rs. 100 for General and OBC candidates, while SC, ST, PH, and all category female candidates are exempt from paying the fee. Payment can be made through debit card, credit card, or net banking.
The age limit for applicants is set between 15 to 24 years as of 31/03/2024, with age relaxation provided as per RCF Kapurthala Apprentices Rules 2024. Candidates must have passed Class 10 High School with at least 50% marks and hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade to be eligible.
The detailed vacancy distribution is as follows: Fitter – 200 posts, Welder – 230 posts, Machinist – 5 posts, Painter – 20 posts, Carpenter – 5 posts, Electrician – 75 posts, and AC & Ref Mechanic – 15 posts.
