Overview:
The National Teachers Eligibility Test (NTET) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to assess the eligibility of candidates aspiring to teach in AYUSH systems of medicine, including Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathy. This exam is compulsory for teaching positions in AYUSH colleges as per guidelines issued by NCISM (National Commission for Indian System of Medicine) and NCH (National Commission for Homoeopathy).

Eligibility Criteria:
- Postgraduate degree (MD/MS or equivalent) in any recognized AYUSH discipline
- Degree must be from institutions recognized by NCISM/NCH
- No age limit to appear in NTET
- Minimum 50% marks in the qualifying exam

- Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Duration: 2 Hours (120 Minutes)
- Type: Objective Type (Multiple Choice Questions)

- Total Marks: 100
- Marking Scheme: +1 for correct answer; No negative marking
- Medium: English and Hindi (English version final in case of discrepancy)
