Eligibility Criteria (As on 31 March 2025):
For Class 6 Admission:
- Age: 10 to 12 years (Born between 1 April 2013 – 31 March 2015)
- Education: Passed Class 5 from recognized school
- Qualifying Marks in NSSNET:
- Minimum 65% aggregate (78/120)
- At least 50% marks in each subject
For Class 7 Admission:
- Age: 11 to 13 years (Born between 1 April 2012 – 31 March 2014)
- Education: Passed Class 6 from recognized school
- Qualifying Marks in NSSNET:
- Minimum 65% aggregate (78/120)
- At least 50% marks in each subject
Application Fee:
- No application fee was charged for NSSNET 2025
Selection Process:
- Written Test: OMR-based MCQ test
- Merit List: Prepared based on NSSNET scores
- Minimum 65% aggregate and 50% in each subject required
- Tie-breaking based on higher marks in Mathematics, then General Intelligence, then age
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates called for verification
- Medical Fitness: May be required before admission
- Final Admission: Based on merit, verification, medical fitness, and seat availability
