NEET PG 2025 – Entrance Exam for MD, MS, and PG Diploma Admission
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET PG 2025) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) for admission into MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses across India. It is a mandatory examination for medical graduates seeking postgraduate medical education.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Must possess an MBBS degree or provisional pass certificate recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or erstwhile Medical Council of India (MCI)
- Must complete one-year compulsory rotatory internship on or before 31 July 2025
- Must hold permanent or provisional registration issued by NMC/SMC
- Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs): Must qualify FMGE, complete internship by 31 July 2025, and be registered with NMC/SMC
- Foreign Nationals: MBBS qualification must be recognized by NMC, and Ministry of Home Affairs clearance may be required
- Age Limit: No upper age limit
Exam Pattern:
- Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Language: English only
- Total Questions: 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Duration: 3.5 hours (9:00 AM to 12:30 PM)
- Marking Scheme:
- +4 marks for each correct answer
- –1 mark for each incorrect answer
- 0 marks for unattempted questions
