Eligibility Criteria (as on 01 August 2025)

Educational Qualification:

• Postgraduate Degree with minimum 55% marks in relevant subject
• B.Ed/M.Ed/Integrated B.Sc.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification
• For Computer Science/Cyber Security: B.Tech/BE/M.Sc/MCA in related stream + computer education certification

Age Limit:

• Minimum: 21 years
• Maximum Age:
  • General/EWS (Male): 40 years
  • OBC-1/OBC-2 (Male): 42 years
  • UR/EWS/OBC-1/OBC-2 (Female): 43 years
  • SC/ST (All): 45 years
    (Age relaxation applicable as per rules)

Application Fees

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹100/-
• SC/ST (Jharkhand): ₹50/-
• PwD Candidates: Exempted

Selection Process

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)
   • Paper I: General Studies (MET)
     • 200 Questions, 200 Marks, Duration: 3 Hours
   • Paper II: Subject-Specific
     • 150 Questions, 300 Marks, Duration: 3 Hours
   • No negative marking

3. Final Merit List based on written exam

Pay Scale

• Pay Level 6: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 per month
• Additional benefits: DA, HRA, Medical, and other allowances
