Eligibility (As on 1 July 2025)
- Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. Degree must be awarded on or after 1 April 2021
- Age Limit: 20–28 years
- Age Relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, 1984 riot victims, and widowed/divorced women
- Local Language Proficiency: Must be able to read, write, and understand the official language of the respective state/UT applied for
Stipend
- Metro & Urban Branches: ₹15,000 per month
- Rural & Semi-Urban Branches: ₹12,000 per month
- Note: Engagement is for 12 months only and does not guarantee future employment with the bank
Selection Process
- Online Written Examination
- Total Questions: 100
- Total Marks: 100
- Duration: 60 Minutes
- Negative Marking: 0.25 for each incorrect answer
- Sections:
- Reasoning Aptitude – 15 Questions
- Computer Knowledge – 10 Questions
- English Language – 25 Questions
- Quantitative Aptitude – 25 Questions
- General Awareness (with special reference to Banking) – 25 Questions
- All sections except English will be available bilingually
- Local Language Proficiency Test

How to Apply
- Step 1: Register on NATS 2.0 Portal and obtain your Enrollment ID
- Step 2: Visit Indian Bank Official Website → Career section
- Step 3: Find “Apprentice Recruitment 2025” → Click Apply Online (redirects to NATS portal)
- Step 4: Log in using your NATS credentials
- Step 5: Select Indian Bank Apprentice advertisement → Click Apply
- Step 6: Fill application form with accurate details
- Step 7: Upload scanned photograph, signature, thumb impression, and handwritten declaration
- Step 8: Pay the application fee online
- Step 9: Submit and take a printout of the form and fee receipt for records
