Eligibility Criteria:
- Gender: Male
- Marital Status: Unmarried
- Nationality:
- Indian citizens
- Subjects of Nepal/Bhutan
- Tibetan refugees or persons of Indian origin migrated with the intent of permanent settlement
- Age Limit: 20 to 27 years as on 01 July 2025 (Born between 02 July 1998 and 01 July 2005)
- Educational Qualification:
- Passed or final year appearing in Engineering Degree in relevant stream
- Final year candidates must complete degree before 01 January 2025
- Candidates with backlogs are not eligible

Selection Process:
- Shortlisting of Applications: Based on aggregate percentage till 6th/8th/2nd semester (as applicable).
- SSB Interview (5 Days) at Selection Centres (Allahabad, Bhopal, Bangalore, Jalandhar):
- Stage I: Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) Test + Picture Perception and Description Test (PPDT)
- Stage II: Psychological Tests, Group Testing, Personal Interview, Conference
- Document Verification: At SSB stage
- Medical Examination: As per Indian Army standards
- Final Merit List: Based on SSB and medical fitness (engineering marks not considered)
Training and Pay Details:
- Training Duration: 12 months at Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun
- Stipend During Training: ₹56,100 per month
- Rank on Commission: Lieutenant
- Pay Level: Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500) + applicable allowances
