Eligibility Criteria
- Gender/Nationality: Unmarried male candidates (Indian/Nepalese)
- Age Limit: 16½ to 19½ years (Born between 2 July 2006 and 1 July 2009, both dates inclusive)
- Educational Qualification:
- Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM)
- Must have appeared in JEE (Mains) 2025
- Physical Standards: Minimum height of 157.5 cm (other standards as per notification)
Application Process

- Register and log in under “Officers Entry Apply/Login”
- Select TES-54 entry and fill out the application form
- Upload scanned documents:
- 10th & 12th Mark Sheets
- JEE Main 2025 Scorecard
- Photograph, Signature, ID Proof
- Submit form and print 2 copies for SSB interview
- Application Fee: Nil for all categories
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on 10+2 PCM percentage and JEE Main 2025 score
- SSB Interview (5-day process):
- Stage I: Intelligence Test, Picture Perception & Discussion
- Stage II: Psychological Tests, Group Tasks, Interview & Conference
- Medical Examination for recommended candidates
- Final merit list based on SSB performance & medical fitness
Training & Commissioning
- Total Training Duration: 4 years
- Phase I: 3 years at CME Pune / MCTE Mhow / MCEME Secunderabad
- Phase II: 1 year at IMA Dehradun or designated Pre Commission Training Academy
- Engineering degree awarded after completion
- Permanent Commission in the rank of Lieutenant
Stipend & Salary
- ₹56,100 per month during training
- Pay on commission: Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500)
- Additional allowances as applicable
