Indian Army Agniveer CEE 2025 – Complete Details
The Indian Army Agniveer Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2025 is part of the selection process for recruitment under the Agnipath scheme, which engages youth as Agniveers for a four-year tenure in the Indian Armed Forces. After successful completion, up to 25% may be absorbed into the regular Army depending on performance and organizational needs.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 1 October 2025):
- Agniveer GD / Tradesman / Technical / Clerk: 17½ to 21 years
- Sepoy Pharma: 19 to 25 years
- JCO Religious Teacher: 27 to 34 years
Educational Qualification:
- Agniveer (General Duty): Class 10th with minimum 45% marks aggregate and 33% in each subject
- Agniveer (Tradesman – 10th/8th Pass): Class 10th or 8th with minimum 33% in each subject
- Agniveer (Technical): 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Math & English with 50% aggregate and 40% in each subject or 10+2 with ITI
- Agniveer (Clerk/SKT): 10+2 in any stream with 60% aggregate and 50% in each subject, 50% in English and Math/Accounts/Bookkeeping in Class 12
- Sepoy Pharma: 10+2 and D.Pharma with 55% + Pharmacy Council registration OR B.Pharma with 50% and registration in State Pharmacy Council
- Nursing Assistant: 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with 50% aggregate and 40% in each subject
Selection Process
The selection process consists of two major phases:
Phase I – Common Entrance Examination (CEE):
- Type: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Total Questions: 50
- Total Marks: 100
- Marking Scheme: +2 for correct, –0.5 for incorrect
- Medium: English, Hindi, and select regional languages

- General Knowledge
- General Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
- Mathematics (Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry)
- Logical Reasoning / English / Computer Science (as applicable)

Phase II – Physical Tests and Screening
Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
- 1.6 Km Run:
- Group I (≤ 5:30 min): 60 marks
- Group II (5:31–5:45 min): 48 marks
- Women Military Police: 7:30 minutes (qualifying)
- Pull-Ups (Males):
- 10 (40 marks), 9 (33), 8 (27), 7 (21), 6 (16)
- Other Tests:
- Zig-Zag Balance: Qualifying
- 9 Feet Ditch Jump: Qualifying
- Women Only: Long Jump – 10 feet, High Jump – 3 feet (qualifying)
Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
- Height, weight, and chest measurements as per category standards
- Minimum Height: 169 cm (males), 162 cm (females)
- Chest Expansion: 5 cm (males)
Psychological Test (New Addition – August 2025 Onwards):
- 15-minute online mental ability test conducted post-PFT
Medical Examination:
- Conducted by Army Medical Team; candidates declared unfit referred to Military Hospitals
Document Verification:
- Submission and verification of original certificates, mark sheets, identity proof, and character certificates
Typing Test (Clerk/SKT only):
- Desirable: 30 wpm in English
Adaptability Test (if required):
- Evaluates suitability for operational environments
Service Terms under Agnipath Scheme
- Tenure: 4 years
- Monthly Salary: ₹30,000 to ₹40,000 (with allowances)
- Seva Nidhi Package: Approx. ₹11.7 lakh (tax-free) at end of tenure
- Regular Enrollment: Up to 25% of Agniveers may be absorbed into the permanent cadre based on merit
