About Exam:
The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 is a national-level entrance exam conducted by IIM Kozhikode for admission to postgraduate (MBA/PGP) and doctoral (FPM/Ph.D.) management programs in all 21 IIMs and over 1,000 top business schools in India. CAT 2025 will be a computer-based test assessing candidates in Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability.

Eligibility Criteria
- Post Graduate Programmes in Management (PGP):
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST/PwD).
- Degree must be from a recognized university or equivalent as per UGC Act 1956 or recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
- Fellowship Programmes in Management (FPM) / Ph.D.:
- Final-year candidates or those awaiting results can apply provisionally.
- Must submit a certificate from the Principal/Registrar confirming completion of all degree requirements as per the stipulated date by respective IIMs.

- Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Duration: 2 hours (40 minutes per section)

- Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC): 24 Questions
- Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR): 22 Questions
- Quantitative Ability (QA): 22 Questions

- Question Types: MCQs and TITA (Type in the Answer)
- Marking Scheme: +3 for correct answers, –1 for incorrect MCQs, no negative marking for TITA questions
