Age Limit (As per Airforce Agniveer Intake 02/2026 Rules)

  • For 10+2 (Intermediate) Candidates:
    • Must be unmarried
    • Date of Birth: Between 02 July 2005 and 02 July 2009
    • Maximum Age: 21 years at the time of enrolment
  • For Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy Candidates:
    • Unmarried: Born between 02 July 2002 and 02 July 2007
    • Married: Born between 02 July 2002 and 02 July 2005
    • Maximum Age: 24 years
    • Age relaxation as per rules

Educational Qualification

For 10+2 Candidates (Medical Assistant Trade):

  • Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with at least 50% aggregate and 50% in English
    OR
  • Passed a 2-year vocational course with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (as non-vocational subjects) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English

For Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy Candidates:

  • Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with at least 50% aggregate and 50% in English
  • Must also hold a Diploma or B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks
  • Must have valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) at the time of enrolment

Physical Standards

  • Height: Minimum 152.5 cm
  • Chest: Minimum 77 cm with 5 cm expansion
  • Weight: Proportionate to height and age
  • Hearing: Able to hear forced whisper from 6 meters in each ear
  • Dental: Healthy gums, good set of teeth, minimum 14 dental points
  • Vision: 6/36 in each eye, correctable to 6/6; LASIK/PRK not acceptable
  • Tattoos: Permanent body tattoos generally not permitted

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

  • Run 1.6 KM:
    • 7 minutes for 10+2 candidates
    • 7 minutes 30 seconds for Diploma / B.Sc candidates above 21 years
  • 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, 20 squats

Selection Process

  • Phase I: Online Written Test (Computer Based Test)
    • Subjects: English and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA)
    • Duration: 45 minutes
    • Total Questions: 50 (20 English, 30 RAGA)
    • Marking Scheme: +1 for correct, -0.25 for incorrect, 0 for unattempted
    • Medium: Bilingual (English & Hindi except English section)
  • Phase II:
    • Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
    • Adaptability Test-I: Written test on military adaptability
    • Adaptability Test-II: Test for adaptability to Air Force lifestyle
    • Document Verification
  • Phase III: Medical Examination
    • Blood Haemogram, Urine RE/ME
    • Biochemistry: Cholesterol, Urea, Uric acid, Blood Sugar (F/PP), Creatinine, LFT (SGOT, SGPT, Bilirubin)
    • Chest X-Ray (PA view), ECG
    • Additional tests as prescribed by Medical Officer

Syllabus

  • English: Comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary, Narration, Voice, Jumbled Sentences
  • Reasoning (Verbal & Non-Verbal): Series, Direction, Operations, Number Ranking, Coding, Puzzles, Analogy, Dictionary Words, etc.
  • General Awareness: General Science, Civics, Geography, History, Current Events, Basic Computers
  • Mathematics (under RAGA): Ratio, Average, LCM & HCF, Profit & Loss, Time, Speed, Distance, Percentages, Geometry, Volume & Surface Area, Probability, Trigonometry

Pay & Benefits

  • Training Stipend: ₹14,600 per month
  • Pay after Training: ₹26,900 per month + DA and applicable allowances
