Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant subject from a recognized Indian or accredited foreign university
- UGC NET or CSIR NET qualification is mandatory
- Ph.D. holders (as per UGC norms) are exempted from NET requirement
- Language Requirement: Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric level or in Higher Education
- Age Limit (as on 15 July 2024):
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 42 Years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per Haryana Government rules
Pay Scale:
- Level 10: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400/- (as per 7th CPC)
Selection Process:
- Skill Test – For Music and Fine Arts
- Screening Test – Objective Type (100 Marks), 25% weightage
- 0.25 marks negative marking for each wrong answer
- Disqualification for more than 10% unanswered questions
- Subject Knowledge Test (SKT) – Written, 150 Marks, 87.5% weightage
- Interview/Viva Voce – 12.5% weightage
- Final Merit List – Based on combined performance
