Selection Process
- Written Examination (CBT) is mandatory for most posts
- Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- UR: 35%
- OBC/EWS: 30%
- SC/ST/PwBD/ESM: 25%
- Skill/Typing Test for Assistant, UDC, LDC, DEO, Stenographer
- Interview only for Scientist B
- Document Verification for all shortlisted candidates
- Medical Examination may be required for some posts
Exam Pattern and Syllabus
Scientist B (2 Hour Exam)
- Duration: 2 hours
- General Aptitude: 40 questions for 40 marks (English, Aptitude, Awareness)
- Subject-Specific: 60 questions for 60 marks
- Question Types: MCQ, MSQ, NAT
- Negative Marking:
- MCQ (1-mark): –1/6
- MCQ (2-mark): –2/6
- NAT: No negative marking
Non-Technical Posts (1 Hour Exam)
- Duration: 1 hour
- Subjects: General Aptitude, English Language, Mathematics, and Domain Knowledge
