• Application Start Date: 30 May 2025
• Last Date to Apply Without Late Fee: 17 June 2025

Eligibility

• Class 10: Students who failed in one or more subjects or want to improve their performance in any subject.
• Class 12: Students who failed or wish to improve marks in one subject only.
• Compartment Students: Students marked as Compartment are eligible.

Application Process

• Regular Students: Submit applications through respective schools.
• Private Candidates: Apply online at cbse.nic.in.
• Fee: Per-subject fee applicable, different for India, Nepal, and other countries.
• Late Fee: ₹2,000 applicable for applications after 17 June 2025.

Exam Details

• Class 10: Multiple subjects between 15 to 22 July 2025.
• Class 12: One-day exam on 15 July 2025 for all subjects.
• Duration: 2 to 3 hours depending on the subject.

Result & Revaluation Process

• Class 12 Result: Declared on 1 August 2025.
• Class 10 Result: Expected by the first week of August 2025.
• Revaluation Process for Class 12: Starts from 6 August 2025.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the Supplementary Exam Date Sheet 2025 for Class 10 and 12 students on 26 June 2025. Candidates who failed in one or two subjects can now check their revised schedule and prepare accordingly.

Eligibility Criteria for Supplementary Exam:

1. Minimum Attendance: 75% attendance required
   • Relaxation may be granted in medical or official cases with documents
2. Passing Marks: Minimum 33% per subject
   • 33% required in both theory and practical components
3. Internal Assessment: Grade higher than ‘E’ is mandatory
4. Compartment: Failing in 1–2 subjects allows supplementary attempt
5. Subject Finalization: Must be done during LOC submission; changes not allowed afterward

Exam Centres:

• Exams will be held in CBSE-assigned centres—generally the same as regular board exams.
