Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute (including Integrated Dual Degree – IDD)
Professional qualifications such as CA, Cost Accountant, Engineering, or Medical are also eligible - Experience:
Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or RRB listed in the Second Schedule of RBI
Experience in NBFCs, fintechs, cooperative banks, payment banks, or small finance banks will not be accepted - Language Proficiency:
Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the local language of the applied state - CIBIL Score:
Minimum score of 680 or above required - Other Conditions:
- Candidate must apply for only one state
- Selected candidate must serve in that state for minimum 12 years or until promoted to SMGS-IV
- Employees who exited BOB officer-grade or contract roles within past 3 years are not eligible
- Experience below 6 months or in clerical cadre is not counted
- Prior experience is not valid for seniority calculation
Salary Structure:
- Pay Scale (JMGS-I): ₹48,480 – ₹85,920
- Allowances: DA, HRA, CCA, Special Allowance, Transport Allowance
- Probation: 1 year
- Service Bond: ₹5 lakh + GST if resignation before 3 years

Job Responsibilities:
- Acquire new customers and promote BOB products
- Handle onboarding and account servicing at branch level
- Drive digital banking usage and educate customers
- Cross-sell credit/debit cards, insurance, SIPs, deposits, loans
- Support outreach campaigns and maintain branch compliance
- Track performance and reporting through MIS
