Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) invites applications for the recruitment of Assistant and Junior Personal Assistant (JPA) positions for 2024 under Advt No. 05/2024. The application process begins on March 9, 2024, and the last date to apply online and pay the examination fee is March 31, 2024, until 5 PM. The exam date will be as per the schedule, and admit cards will be available before the exam.

The application fee is INR 500 for General, OBC, EWS, SC/ST/PH, and all category female candidates. The fee can be paid through debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI. Note that after appearing for the Stage I exam, the application fee will be refunded as follows: INR 400 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and INR 500 for SC/ST/Female/Ex-servicemen candidates.

The age limit for the PRL Assistant and JPA recruitment as of March 31, 2024, requires candidates to be between 18 and 28 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per PRL recruitment rules.

There are 16 vacancies for the posts of Assistant and Junior Personal Assistant (JPA). The details are as follows:

• Assistant: 10 posts. Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks from any recognized university in India with proficiency in the use of computers.
• Junior Personal Assistant (JPA): 6 posts. Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks from any recognized university in India with English stenographer skills at 60 WPM and proficiency in the use of computers. Alternatively, a diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with 60% marks, one year of experience as a steno typist/stenographer, English stenographer skills at 60 WPM, and proficiency in the use of computers. The exam for the PRL Assistant and JPA recruitment will be conducted in the following districts: Lucknow, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Shillong, Thiruvananthapuram, and Udaipur.
