The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for July 2024. This test is crucial for individuals aspiring to become teachers in primary (Class I to V) and junior levels (Class VI to VIII) in schools across India.

Applications for the CTET July 2024 will open on 7 March 2024, and the last date for registration is 5 April 2024. The deadline for fee payment is also 5 April 2024, with the correction window available from 8 to 12 April 2024. The exam is scheduled to take place on 7 July 2024, and candidates will receive their exam city details by 24 June 2024. Admit cards will be available two days before the exam, and the answer key will be released on 24 July 2024. The result date will be announced later.

The application fee for one paper is INR 1000 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, and INR 500 for SC, ST, and PH candidates. For both papers, the fee is INR 1200 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, and INR 600 for SC, ST, and PH candidates. Fees can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking, or e-challan.

For eligibility, those applying for the Primary Level (Class I to V) must have completed Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and be pursuing or have completed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education. Those applying for the Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) must have a graduation degree and be pursuing or have completed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), or meet other specified qualifications.

Candidates should apply online from 7 March 2024 to 5 April 2024. It is important to check the availability of exam centers as they are limited. Applicants must read the notification carefully before applying and ensure all required documents are ready, including proof of eligibility and ID. CTET July 2024 Exam Eligibility Code Details

CTET Primary Level (Class I to V): Eligibility with Code

  1. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  2. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
  3. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  4. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII): Eligibility with Code

  1. Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  2. At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in final year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
  3. Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.
  4. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  5. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  6. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year B.Ed. (Special Education).
  7. Any candidate who has qualified a B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Additionally, candidates pursuing teacher education courses recognized by the NCTE or the RCI are also eligible.
  8. Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in final year of three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

How to Fill CTET July 2024 Exam Online Form

  1. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CTET Paper I to V & VI to VIII Exam for July 2024. Candidates can apply online from 07/03/2024 to 05/04/2024.
  2. Note: Exam centers are limited in every city. Candidates should apply as soon as possible to secure their preferred exam center as slots are limited.
